Welcome to my new blog and web page.  The web page can be viewed at ZadikShapiro.com. While I do not promise to comment everyday I shall try to comment most days. Please check back frequently for new content and tell your friends about it. The subject matter will be primarily the law.  In particular I shall emphasize criminal law.  But you can expect comments on whatever comes to mind on a particular day.  No doubt many of the comments will be on the Bill of Rights since that has a strong impact on criminal law and is something that interests me.

Like any blog this is a work in progress. Please feel free to subscribe to the page and to let me know about additional links or content that you feel appropriate.  Also I hope that through your comments, both pro and con, we can develop a vibrant, thought provoking discussion of issues affecting the law, criminal justice and the Bill of Rights.  I invite guest commentators.  Please send your requests or ideas to me at zshapiro@zadikshapiro.com.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Marlyse Hansemann of DomainDomino.com for designing and hosting the web page and blog. Also I am considerably indebted to Liana Shapiro for color consultation and to Renee Hansemann for photography.
