Is this all the author can say about the good deed of Mr. Roeder? Just a cheap slur against his intellect? No honest assessment of the consistency of his actions with the doctrine most “prolifers” – and, really, the civilized world – historically speaking – proclaim?

He acted in absolute good faith with the doctrine of the imago Dei. Either mankind is created in the image of God and therefore inviolable as long as he is innocent of any high crime or he is as the Modernists imagines, just another glorified evolving worm, subject to the lethal whims of a mother or any other person in power.

You can’t have it both ways.
